My Path
Someone in my spiritual group — I was in my 20s — just handed Autobiography of a Yogi to me, stuck it in front of my face and said, “I think you need to read this.” I just see a picture of this man looking at me. That’s a weird looking cover. Who is that? It was the red copy. I took it home and I read it. I ended up following another guru at the time, but the lessons from SRF, the little booklet, sat on a bookshelf for about ten years before I returned.
Joy in Action
I'm very fortunate that I can honestly say I experience that every week, maybe multiple times a week. You just get someone who just gets it. Someone who sheds a tear and says 'no more.' I had a woman just a few days ago and she said, 'Steven, this is going to sound utterly crazy and ridiculous.' I said, 'Those are usually the best ideas.' 'Since I was a girl, I wanted to run for president.' She starts dismissing it for obvious reasons. The guides show me a baby tooth, loose, and then an adult tooth underneath. We finish the session and she goes from just owning a gift shop into she's going to support a campaign for someone running for Congress. It's not that I've done anything as Steven. I've shown them their soul's path and it's basically alignment. I'm realigning when they've fallen off the tracks.
