Worship & Arts

The Worship Ministry is a ministry where individual’s gifts, such as singing, musical instruments, dancing and acting are offered to God. With these gifts, the atmosphere is cultivated for worship and it gives parishioners an opportunity to give back to God the gifts He has given them.

First Impressions – The Temple of Joy is about community. Even as we grow, we are committed to sharing The Christ Experience with every person. By our words, actions and gestures, we want to consistently demonstrate, “You belong here!”  “Come Grow With Us!”

Greeters

Do you have a love for the Lord and people that shines through your warm, friendly smile and pleasant handshake?  If you have an outgoing and inviting personality, then we invite you to join us as a Greeter in making a great first impression!  This dynamic team welcomes all visitors that come on our church campus from the parking lot.  They covet the idea of "WOWing" each attendee so that when they sit in their seat and the music begins; they feel accepted and grateful to be here at The Temple of Joy. 

Ushers

This diverse group is an essential part of our first impressions vision.  Our Usher team welcomes and guides guests into the church so that they may enjoy a positive worship experience.  They assist with locating seats, facilitate offering time, and are alert to the enjoyment and safety of each guest.  Our fantastic teams of Ushers ease the process of Communion and handle all of the behind-the-scenes details.  If you enjoy helping people, then we have a place for you on our Usher team

Voices of Joy

The Voices of Joy adult choir is dedicated to edifying the saints, ministering to the hearts of believers and magnifying God through song and worship. They rehearse on the Tuesday before the 1st Sunday. They sing on the 1st Sunday with the exception of special services at the church.

Women of Joy

The Women of Joy choir is the women’s choir of The Temple of Joy. They rehearse on the Tuesday before the 2nd Sunday and sing on the 2nd Sunday.

Men of Joy

The Men of Joy choir is the men’s choir of The Temple of Joy. They rehearse on the Tuesday before the 3rd Sunday and sing on the 3rd Sunday.

Next Level

The Next Level choir consists of young adults (ages 14–26) who are committed and they have the opportunity to minister in music to peers and parishioners in a congregational setting. They rehearse on the Tuesday before the 4th Sunday, and sing on the 4th Sunday which is Youth Sunday.

Sounds of Joy

The Sounds of Joy ministry is in charge of the facilitation of all audio/video equipment and ensures that quality sound is always heard during worship services, Hour of Power and church sponsored events. This ministry meets on the 1st Saturday of every month at 10:00 am.

Praise Dancers of Joy

The Adult Praise Dance Ministry is designed to minister through the dynamics of praise dance and interpretive movement. This ministry rehearses as needed depending upon performances.

S.T.O.M.P (Stepping Towards Our Masters Promise)
STOMP provides youth, from the 6th grade to 18 year old) with discipleship, faith development and empowerment opportunities. STOMP meets every Wednesday in Pioneer CLUB at 7 o’clock pm. STOMP is the incubator where youth can grow spiritually, and fellowship with a crowd that is in Christ. Youth that are looking for a place where the “party” never stops and the admission is free, then they need to check out the Pioneer CLUB.

Mime Ministry
