Having been in the ministry for several decades, Pastor Burgs has organized and grown four churches in the Greater Houston area. He’s pastored and lead 6 congregations to kingdom building on powerful crusades for Christ. Under his leadership, hundreds have been counseled, chosen salvation and have embraced their spiritual walk. Through the years Pastor Burgs has been accredited with numerals accolades, awards and certifications that support his spiritual walk of leadership. He is a biblical scholar having attended universities such as Houston Baptist, Texas Southern University and Inter-Baptist Theological where he earned his Conferred Doctorate of Divinity.
With more than 5 decades in the ministry Pastor Burgs continues to serve with a vision and determination that is infectious amongst God’s people. A Husband, a father, a pastor and a friend; Dr. Donald Gene Burgs continues to lead as the vessel that God uses to minister to his people.
Today the second generation has inherited the Mission; Pastor Dre, is following in his father's footstep and has taken on the Clergy's calling. His ministry ushers in an opening and a look towards the future... to guide the flock with wisdom compassion and the love of Christ in this 21st century. |
