Family Life Ministries is dedicated to strengthening families by developing, nurturing and facilitating men, women and children into higher dimensions in their individual and collective relationships with God. The strength of the family determines the strength of the church. Through the following ministries we strive to empower each individual so that we can not only build stronger and healthier families, but have a stronger Church collectively:

S.E.A.L.S (Single Empowered and Living Single) At the Temple of Joy, we believe that each one of us has a purpose and a personal destiny designed and planned by God.  We are vitally interested in the lives of Singles and have created communities where you can grow spiritually and emotionally in your relationship with God and others and discover the destiny that God has for you.

Souls United – Souls United is devoted to building and maintaining healthy marriages utilizing Godly principles through faith development and Koinonia. This ministry meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7 pm.

L.O.V.E.S (Ladies of Virtue, Excellence & Spirit)  – Tabernacle Baptist Church Women’s Ministry is unique in it’s purpose to empower women of all ages, care for the spiritual and physical needs of women in our congregation and develop Christian fellowship among one another. In addition, this ministry offers several events each year designed to help women feel connected and a vital part of the Kingdom of God.

In today’s world, many women feel “trapped” or “intimated” by their past.  Yet others have become conditioned to believe that their circumstances can never change.  The L.O.V.E.S. Ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Church was created to inspire women of God in a special way.  In 2 Timothy 2:20, the Bible reminds us to “purge” or rid ourselves of any thing that hinders us from becoming that “vessel unto honor” that God can use.  L.O.V.E.S. reminds and encourages women that Jesus Christ sits at the potter’s wheel and is there to create newness in our lives by reshaping our minds and hearts.

This ministry has a fellowship meeting on every Wednesday at 7:00 PM

M.O.S (Men Of Service) – Tabernacle Baptist Church Men’s Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry, designed to build up the men of God through prayer, discipline, fellowship and mutual accountability. The ministry strives to help men grow in their walk with Jesus Christ through the development of meaningful relationships with other men. The intention of this ministry is to develop a pool of leaders and servants for carrying out the work of the church by giving men the opportunity to develop friendships through a variety of fellowship events

Our purpose is to:  Mentor our youth.  Encourage leadership.  Nurture our faith and strengthen family, brotherhood and community. God has called us to be men of courage, strength and power! To be a light in the world so that others may find their way in the darkness. As men of God, we are called to lead our families in godliness; to encourage ourselves and others to be faithful; to help in giving direction to our youth and to encourage and keep our pastor in prayer. Men should always pray and not faint. Luke 18:1.
